1. ACCEPTANCE
By using SYSTEM//ZERO, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. THE APP
SYSTEM//ZERO is a gamified personal progression application that helps users organize quests, goals, routines, and progress. It does not create a SYSTEM//ZERO user account.
3. LOCAL DATA AND BACKUPS
Gameplay information is stored locally on your device. SYSTEM//ZERO does not currently provide cloud backup or recovery for quests, XP, levels, stats, streaks, settings, or other gameplay progression.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and keeping separate records of information important to you. Uninstalling the app, clearing application data, losing or replacing the device, storage corruption, or device failure may cause permanent loss of local progress.
4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for the quests and activities you choose, content you enter, your device security, and maintaining access to the Apple App Store or Google Play account used for purchases where relevant.
5. USER-CREATED CONTENT
You retain rights you hold in custom quest names, descriptions, categories, and similar content. The app processes and stores that content locally to provide its features. Do not enter unlawful content, infringe another person's rights, threaten or harass others, or use the app unlawfully. Avoid adding unnecessary sensitive information to quest text.
6. PREMIUM SYSTEM PACKS
Solo Level Up and Knight Protocol are optional non-consumable purchases offered through Apple App Store / StoreKit on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android. Prices, taxes, payments, refunds, transaction handling, and purchase records are governed by applicable law and the terms and policies of the store where the purchase is made.
7. RESTORE PURCHASES
Eligible System Pack ownership may normally be restored through the app while using the Apple App Store or Google Play account that owns the purchase. Restoration depends on the platform provider's ownership records, services, policies, and availability and therefore cannot be guaranteed in every circumstance.
Restore Purchases restores eligible premium entitlements only; it does not restore gameplay progress. Purchases are platform-specific: Apple purchases do not automatically grant Google Play ownership, and Google Play purchases do not automatically grant Apple ownership.
8. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS
SYSTEM//ZERO provides organizational and motivational tools. It does not guarantee productivity, habit formation, self-improvement, fitness, professional success, or another result. In-app levels and attributes are gamification features, not objective assessments of health, ability, or personal worth.
9. HEALTH AND ACTIVITY DISCLAIMER
SYSTEM//ZERO is not medical or psychological treatment, fitness coaching, or professional advice. Use reasonable judgment when creating or completing missions, particularly those involving physical activity. Stop an activity if it may be unsafe or causes pain, dizziness, distress, or other concerning symptoms, and seek qualified advice when appropriate.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The SYSTEM//ZERO name, original interface, software, text, design, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership is transferred except for the limited right to use the app. You may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, bypass protections, or commercially exploit the app except as permitted by law.
11. ACCEPTABLE USE
Do not falsify purchases or entitlements, introduce malicious code, interfere with app or store operation, attempt unauthorized access, infringe rights, or use SYSTEM//ZERO unlawfully.
12. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued because of maintenance, platform requirements, provider outages, security needs, or product development. Continuous, error-free, secure, or permanent availability is not promised.
13. PLATFORM SERVICES
Purchases rely on Apple App Store / StoreKit or Google Play / Google Play Billing. Their own terms and policies also apply. SYSTEM//ZERO is not responsible for platform services outside its reasonable control.
14. DISCLAIMERS
To the extent permitted by law, SYSTEM//ZERO is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The app is not promised to be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing here excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or purely economic loss arising from use or unavailability of the app is limited. This includes loss of locally stored progression where the loss was outside SYSTEM//ZERO's reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or rights that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer protections.
16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
These Terms may be updated for product, legal, security, or operational changes. The “Last updated” date will be revised, and additional notice will be provided where required.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without overriding mandatory consumer protections or jurisdictional rights that apply to you.
